  • Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
  • Spanish onions 1 head
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Chorizo 5 oz
  • Sourdough Bread 2 pieces
  • Baking Tomatoes 5 oz
  • Ketchup 2 tablespoons
  • Canned Pork with Beans 15 oz
  • Pitted olives 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 4 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat a grill pan. Heat the oil in a large skillet and sauté the finely chopped, seedless chili, onion, and 2 minced garlic cloves for a few minutes until softened.

Step 2

Add the diced chorizo, season with salt and pepper, and fry for 4-5 minutes until the sausage starts to release its oil.

Step 3

Meanwhile, toast the bread on the grill pan for 1-2 minutes on each side until grill marks appear. Lightly drizzle with olive oil and rub with a garlic clove.

Add the tomatoes to the chorizo, then add ketchup to taste, black beans, and olives, mix well, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Divide the chorizo mixture between 2 warm bowls and place them on plates, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with a piece of toasted bread on the side.
