Braised Chicken with Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Chicken bones 2 pieces
  • Onion 2 heads
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Salt 1½ teaspoons
  • Ground Black Pepper a pinch
  • Mayonnaise 6 tablespoons
  • Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Water 3 cups
  • Mini vegetables 20 pieces
  • Parsley to taste
  • Cilantro to taste
  • Dill to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the chicken in a pot.

Step 2

Slice the onion into thin half-rings, chop the garlic, and slice the bell pepper thinly; transfer everything to the pot with the chicken, season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Add mayonnaise and mix everything well.

Step 4

Add vegetable oil to the bottom of the pot with the chicken.

Step 5

Pour in the water, cover with a lid, making sure the lid is slightly ajar, and cook on low heat.

Step 6

Cook until the chicken is half done.

Step 7

Add the potatoes. It’s important that the water completely covers the potatoes, so you may need to add a little more water, and stir gently.

Step 8

Cook for 20 minutes.

Step 9

Turn the chicken over, uncover, and cook for 15 minutes on medium heat.

Step 10

Remove from heat, everything is ready.

Step 11

Sprinkle with herbs, arrange nicely, and enjoy your meal.
