
Braised Chicken with Pineapples

Boiled rice makes a great side dish. It's also delicious with spaghetti.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 20 oz
- Celery salt 1 piece
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Canned Pineapple Chunks 1 can
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the carrots into quarter rounds and lightly sauté them in vegetable oil.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into small pieces, add it to the hot skillet with the carrots, and sauté until the chicken is white on the outside. Season with salt. Reduce the heat to medium.
Step 3
Cut the pineapples into cubes and add them to the chicken.
Step 4
Pour the juice from the can and half a cup of hot water into the chicken and simmer covered for 20–30 minutes.
