Ingredients
- Herbs to taste
- Beef 5 lbs
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Spiced Tomato Juice 10 fl oz
- Onion 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Celery salt 2 pieces
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Oregano 1 teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ¼ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly dry the meat and coat it in flour.
Step 2
In a large pot, heat the oil and brown the meat on all sides. Pour out the excess oil from the pot.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion, crush the garlic, and slice the carrot and celery into rounds. Add them to the pot with the meat, along with the tomato juice, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix everything well. Bring to a boil over high heat.
Step 4
Simmer in a covered pot on low heat for 2.5–3 hours, occasionally turning the meat.
Step 5
Blend the vegetables and broth to make a sauce, then bring it to a boil over high heat.
Step 6
Serve the meat thinly sliced, drizzled with the sauce and garnished with herbs.
