Description

You can certainly add various spices depending on your taste; I have described the classic recipe. You can add sugar or, on the contrary, chili. Feel free to be creative as you wish.

Ingredients

  • Thick Beef Rib 0 lbs
  • Onion 2 heads
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 15 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Red Long Chili Peppers 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Heat a pot to maximum temperature.

Step 2

Pour in the olive oil.

Step 3

Chop the onion coarsely into strips. Add it to the heated oil.

Step 4

As soon as the onion starts to turn yellow, add the washed ribs, separated from each other, to the pot.

Step 5

Sear them until lightly browned, season with salt and both types of pepper. Then sprinkle with flour and mix. Fry for another 2 minutes.

Step 6

Reduce the temperature to medium. Add the tomato paste, mix, season with a bit more salt and pepper, cover with a lid, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
