Description

Instead of bay leaves, you can use a pinch of dried herb mix.

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 6 tablespoons
  • Onion 2 heads
  • Wheat Flour 1 teaspoon
  • Tomatoes 25 oz
  • Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
  • Bay leaf 2 pieces
  • Bonito tuna fillet 5 lbs
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a large skillet, heat the oil. Add the onion and sauté, stirring, for 5 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent. Sprinkle in the flour and continue cooking for another 2 minutes.

Step 2

Now add the chopped tomato flesh without seeds to the skillet and continue stirring, breaking it up with a spatula. After 5 minutes, pour in the wine, add the herbs, and season everything with salt. Continue cooking for another 15 minutes.

Step 3

Now add the fish to the skillet, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes. Serve immediately once ready.
