Bonito tuna with onion and white wine
Ingredients
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Onion 3 pieces
- Bonito tuna fillet 5 lbs
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat the oil in a skillet. Add finely chopped onion and sauté, stirring, for 5 minutes, until the onion becomes soft and translucent.
Step 2
Place the bonito fillet on top of the onion, season with salt, and pour in the wine. Add the bay leaf, cover the skillet with a lid, and continue cooking for another 15 minutes. If necessary, you can add a little water during cooking.
Step 3
Transfer the fish to a warmed serving dish, sprinkle with onion, and serve.
