Description

It's best to use light, filtered beer. For a side dish, use lettuce leaves and fresh tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • Smoked haddock fillet 20 oz
  • Wheat Flour 1 cup
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Beer ⅓ cup
  • Lemon ½ piece
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the salmon fillet, cut it into thin strips, season with salt, and drizzle with lemon juice.

Step 2

Prepare the beer batter: beat the egg with salt, add the beer, and mix in the flour. Stir until the consistency is like sour cream, with no lumps.

Step 3

Coat each piece of fish in flour, then dip it in the batter. Fry the salmon in a deep fryer preheated to 320°F for five minutes.
