Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Lightly salt the beef and marinate it in the five spice mixture with sesame oil and 5 ml of olive oil.

Trim the roots off the mushrooms and slice the green onion into large feathers.

Step 3

Sear the beef in a hot skillet on all sides for 3 minutes.

Bake the beef in a preheated oven at 355°F for 10 minutes; transfer the beef from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
