  • Beef 10 oz
  • Soy Sauce 5 tablespoons
  • Onion 1 head
  • Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic Scapes 1 bunch
  • Toasted Sesame 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame Oil to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Red Long Chili Peppers to taste
  • Carrot 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the beef into thin strips.

Step 2

Place in a skillet with heated oil and lightly fry for a couple of minutes. Then add soy sauce and a little water, cover, and simmer until tender. Add water as it evaporates.

Step 3

When the beef is tender and almost no liquid remains, add the onion and carrot (cut as you like) and the garlic scapes.

Step 4

After simmering for a few minutes, add black pepper, red pepper, sugar, sesame seeds, and a dash of sesame oil.

Step 5

Simmer until the garlic scapes are cooked — they should become tender.
