Ingredients

  • Beef 20 oz
  • Onion 2 heads
  • Sour Cream 5 oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
  • Parsley 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the beef, dry it well, and slice it.

Step 2

Place the slices of meat between two layers of plastic wrap and pound them.

Step 3

Cut the pounded meat into thin strips against the grain.

Step 4

Peel the onion and cut it into quarters of rings.

Step 5

In a heated skillet with oil, add the onion, season with salt, add a little pepper, and sauté until soft.

Step 6

Sprinkle the sautéed onion with flour and mix.

Step 7

Add sour cream and tomato paste (to taste) to the onion and mix.

Step 8

Bring the sour cream mixture to a boil and add a little water (enough so that the sauce is not too thick or too thin).

Step 9

Simmer the sauce a little, stirring constantly, to achieve the desired thickness and a smooth consistency. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 10

Heat another skillet well, add a little oil, and place the meat (you can sauté the meat in small batches, but it's not necessary).

Step 11

Sauté the meat for a few minutes until cooked, seasoning with salt and pepper.

Step 12

Transfer the sautéed meat to the sauce, mix, and simmer for another 2–3 minutes over low heat.

Step 13

If needed, season the Beef Stroganoff with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 14

When serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
