Ingredients
- Beef Kidneys 20 oz
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Rinse the beef liver, remove the membrane and veins, and cut into small thin pieces.
Step 3
Add flour to the liver.
Step 4
Mix to coat each piece evenly with flour.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.
Step 6
Quickly fry the pieces of liver on all sides, stirring with a spatula, until a crust forms.
Step 7
Slice the onion into half rings.
Step 8
Add to the liver. Stir and sauté for 2–3 minutes over medium heat.

Add salt to taste.
Step 10
Add ground black pepper.

Add ground nutmeg.

Add sour cream to the skillet and stir.

Pour in 1 cup of warm boiled water.
Step 14
Simmer covered on low heat for 7–10 minutes.
Step 15
Serve with a side dish of boiled rice or mashed potatoes.
