Beef stewed with prunes
Ingredients
- Beef 30 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Safflower Oil 4 spoons
- Dried Yellow Plums 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 2 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into half-moons.
Step 2
Pour oil into a pot, and when it heats up, add the chopped onion and sauté for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Slice the beef into 1-centimeter thick pieces.
Step 4
Place the beef in the pot on top of the sautéed onions.
Step 5
When the meat releases its juices, add the prunes and stir. Season with salt and add spices to your taste (ground pepper, bay leaf, herbs).
Step 6
Leave to simmer covered for about 50 minutes.
Step 7
Add the flour and stir, then simmer for another 10 minutes.
