Description

The meat turns out very tender with a subtle sweet and slightly spicy flavor. It can be served with any side dish, but it is best to prefer neutral and light boiled potatoes or blanched green asparagus. Enjoy your meal!

Ingredients

  • Beef 2 pieces
  • Ginger Green Wine 10 fl oz
  • Frank's Hot Sauce 1 teaspoon
  • Honey-Mustard Dressing 3 teaspoons
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Coconut Milk 2 tablespoons
  • Spices 1 teaspoon
  • Bay leaf 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a preheated deep skillet, pour in the olive oil and place the meat, add the coconut oil and sprinkle with spices; I chose Provencal herbs and dried garlic. Let it fry until lightly golden brown.

Step 2

In a large glass, mix the pear sauce (you can choose any other hot sauce depending on how spicy you want your dish), mustard, spices (a mix of pepper, salt, paprika), and carefully pour in the ginger beer (as it foams a lot and may overflow from the glass), mix well.

Step 3

Make sure the beef is evenly and not overly browned on both sides. You can carefully drain the oil after frying (I prefer this less 'greasy' option). Return the meat to the skillet and pour in the prepared spicy beer, toss in a couple of bay leaves, and let it stew on low heat for 1.5 hours.

Step 4

It's ready, place the pieces of meat on a plate.
