Ingredients

  • Beef 20 oz
  • Dark Ale 15 fl oz
  • Onion 2 heads
  • Garlic 5 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Bay leaf to taste
  • Vegetable Oil 3 spoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the beef into cubes. Slice the onion into half-moons and chop the garlic.

Step 2

Sear the beef in a hot skillet (or heavy-bottomed pot) with some vegetable oil. Add the onion, garlic, and salt to taste. Sauté for 2–3 minutes.

Step 3

Pour the beer into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Then, pour the hot beer into the skillet with the beef, add a bay leaf and allspice. Simmer on low heat for 70-90 minutes.

Step 4

Arrange the beef on a plate and serve it with your favorite side dish.
