Beef Stewed in Beer
Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Celery salt 5 oz
- Veal Tenderloin 20 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Beer 15 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons
- Spices to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet. Cut the beef into small pieces and fry over medium heat until golden brown. Transfer to a plate.
Step 2
In the same skillet where the meat was cooked, add finely chopped onion. Fry until golden.
Step 3
Dice the celery root and carrot.
Step 4
Combine the meat, onion, carrot, and celery in a pot (preferably a Dutch oven), season with salt and spices to taste. Pour in the beer and place in a preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours.
