Beef steaks in baguette

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Onion 2 heads
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Spices to taste
  • Beef 20 oz
  • French Baguette 4 pieces
  • Stilton Cheese 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Heat the oil in a skillet, add the chopped onion, stir, and cover with a lid. Cook for 10 minutes until very soft.

Step 2

Remove the lid and add the sugar, cooking for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with spices and set aside.

Step 3

Preheat the grill pan and place 4 steaks on it. Cook for 2 minutes on each side over medium heat. Season with spices and slice into strips.

Step 4

Slice 4 small baguettes lengthwise and distribute the meat and onion mixture between them on the bottom halves.

Step 5

Sprinkle with cheese on top and cover with the two halves. Serve with mustard.
