  • Onion 0 oz
  • Cream 5 fl oz

  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the steak in a bowl and marinate it. To do this, pour vegetable oil (for example, olive oil) over it, add salt and pepper to taste. Add thyme and rosemary. Let it sit for a minute.

Step 2

Set the grill to medium rare.

Step 3

Place the steak on the grill and cook according to the selected program.

Step 4

While the steak is grilling, prepare the sauce. For this, chop the onion.

Step 5

Add chili to taste. Mix with the onion.

Step 6

In a deep pot, place the butter and set it over medium heat.

Step 7

Add the onion and chili, and sauté.

Step 8

Pour in the red wine and chicken broth.

Step 9

Slice the garlic clove and add it to the wine and broth mixture.

Step 10

Add salt and pepper to taste. Add some black peppercorns.

Step 11

Bring everything to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 12

Add the cream and reduce the sauce to a consistency of thick sour cream (this will take about 8 minutes), then remove from heat.

Step 13

Place the finished steak on paper towels to drain excess juice.

Step 14

Serve the steak, sprinkled with chili and herbs to taste. Serve the pepper sauce separately.
