Beef steak with horseradish sauce
Ingredients
- Olive Oil 2 spoons
- Veal Tenderloin 5 lbs
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Dijon Mustard 3 spoons
- Ground Black Pepper 3 spoons
- Fresh Rose Hips 0 oz
- Thyme 0 oz
- Sour Cream 10 oz
- Grated Ginger Root 3 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the prepared piece of tenderloin on plastic wrap. Brush it with oil on all sides, sprinkle with salt. Pepper it, sprinkle with chopped herbs, and roll it in the herbs.
Step 2
Wrap and leave at room temperature for an hour. Preheat the oven to 430°F. Place the meat on a baking tray with a ridged bottom.
Step 3
Bake for thirty-five minutes. Then turn on the grill and broil for five to ten minutes.
Step 4
Remove from the oven and let cool on a cutting board for thirty minutes. Slice into thin pieces and serve with a sauce made from sour cream, mustard, and horseradish.
