Beef steak with fresh corn salad
Ingredients
- Minced garlic 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil 3 teaspoons
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Veal Tenderloin 20 oz
- Corn Cobs 5 pieces
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Chopped Sage Leaves 2 tablespoons
- Red Wine Vinegar 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the grill well.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil, garlic, and ¼ teaspoon of salt.
Step 3
Cut the meat into 2 steaks and rub with the garlic mixture. Place on the grill and cook for 3–4 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Transfer to a board, cover with foil, and let rest for a while.
Step 4
Place the corn ears on the grill and roast for about 8 minutes until slightly charred. Cool for about 5 minutes.
Step 5
In a bowl, carefully cut the corn kernels off the cob with a sharp knife, add finely chopped tomatoes, finely chopped pepper, basil, vinegar, remaining oil, and salt.
Step 6
Slice the meat and serve with the salad.
