Ingredients

  • Butter 0 oz
  • Olive Oil ½ tablespoon
  • Steaks 2 pieces
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Fresh Mushrooms 10 oz
  • Campbell's Beef Broth 5 fl oz
  • Cream (40%) 5 fl oz
  • Parsley 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil. Add the meat and sear for 2–3 minutes on each side for rare, 4 minutes for medium, and 6 minutes on each side for well done. Transfer to plates, cover with foil, and keep warm.

Step 2

Reduce the heat under the skillet and add finely chopped garlic and thinly sliced mushrooms. Sauté for 3–4 minutes, stirring. Pour in the broth and cook for 2 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Add the cream and warm gently. Add parsley, season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Pour the sauce over the meat and serve immediately.
