  • Sour Cream 5 oz
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Fresh basil leaves 2 tablespoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 2 teaspoons
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Spanish onions 2 heads
  • Brown Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Sourdough Bread 8 pieces
  • Balsamic Vinegar 2 tablespoons
  • Lamb Neck Fillet 15 oz
  • Fresh Mushrooms 10 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the grill. For the sauce, mix sour cream, minced garlic, chopped basil, and lemon juice, season with salt, and mix well.

Step 2

Thinly slice the onion into rings and mix with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place the onion on the grill and cook for 10 minutes until soft. Pile the onion together and drizzle with vinegar, then sprinkle with sugar. Mix, redistribute on the grill, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until it starts to caramelize. Transfer to a plate. Grill the bread on both sides for 30 seconds until grill marks appear.

Step 3

Cut the meat into 4 steaks and lightly brush with olive oil. Season with salt. Grill for 1-2 minutes on each side. In a separate pan, sauté the mushrooms, sliced lengthwise, in a small amount of oil.

Step 4

On plates, place the toasted bread, add some mushrooms on top, then a piece of meat, and finish with the glazed onion. Drizzle everything with the sour cream sauce and top with a second piece of bread.
