Beef Patties on Rye Bread
Ingredients
- Beef 10 oz
- Rye Bread 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Salt to taste
- Water 5 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mince the meat using a meat grinder.
Step 2
Remove the crusts from the bread.
Step 3
Crumble the bread, pour water over it, and let it soak.
Step 4
Chop the onion and add it to the minced meat.
Step 5
Transfer the softened bread into the meat mixture, having previously crumbled it.
Step 6
Mix until homogeneous.
Step 7
Add salt to taste.
Step 8
Optionally, you can add a little freshly ground black pepper.
Step 9
Dry the bread crusts in the oven.
Step 10
Crush the dried crusts into crumbs.
Step 11
Form patties from the meat mixture.
Step 12
Coat the patties in breadcrumbs and place them on a baking sheet, pouring a little water (in a thin layer) at the bottom. Preheat the oven to 390°F. Place the patties in the oven for half an hour.
