
Beef in Tomato Sauce with Lima Beans

Description
The taste of this dish is simply amazing, and the lima beans are extraordinary! If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend it! They are much larger than regular beans, have a delicate creamy texture and a flawless white color. The beans in the package are uniform, smooth, and all the same size. Cooking with this ingredient is a pure pleasure!
Ingredients
- Boneless pork shoulder 20 oz
- Dried lima beans 10 oz
- Carrot 1 piece
- Passata Tomato Sauce 10 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Ground ancho chili pepper ½ piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the beans in water for several hours and boil until tender.
Step 2
Cut the beef into thin strips and fry in a hot skillet (without oil!).
Step 3
When the meat has a golden crust, add a little water and cover with a lid.
Step 4
Slice the carrot, cut the onion into half rings, and the chili pepper into rounds. Add all the ingredients to the beef, along with the tomato paste. Add a bit more water and let it simmer for about 40 minutes.
Step 5
After the time has passed, add the beans to the meat and vegetables, and let it cook under the lid for another 12–15 minutes.
