- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Carrot 1 piece
- Brown Sugar ½ teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Parsley to taste
- Guinness Beer ⅓ cup
- Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
- Bay leaf 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the meat into small cubes. Peel and slice the onion and carrot into even pieces.
Step 2
In a thick pot (preferably ceramic), heat both types of oil and quickly brown the meat until it is brown.
Step 3
Remove the meat from the pot with a spatula. Sauté the onion in the oil and the broth released from the meat until it softens.
Step 4
Add the flour, onion, and salt to the pot, then return the meat, add the carrot, pour the Guinness over the dish, and sprinkle in the sugar. Mix well with a spatula and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Cover with a lid and a towel. Simmer on the stove for about two hours.
Step 6
Meanwhile, boil the potatoes in salted water with the bay leaf added. Afterward, mash the soft potatoes into a puree.
Step 7
Chop fresh parsley.
Step 8
Serve the finished stew in a deep plate with a small amount of puree and sprinkled with parsley.
