- Beef Tri-Tip 20 oz
- Campbell's Beef Broth 15 fl oz
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Dried Chili Pepper 2 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour beef broth into a saucepan, add a handful of dried green peppercorns, and place over medium heat. Cook for ten to fifteen minutes, then add cream and continue cooking until the sauce thickens. Season with salt, stir in a spoonful of mustard, and remove from heat.
Step 2
Season two pieces of steak, each weighing 300 grams, with salt and sear them in a hot skillet coated with vegetable oil. Cook for two minutes on one side, then two minutes on the other. After that, transfer the meat to an oven preheated to 355°F and cook for eight minutes.
Step 3
Let the meat rest for two to three minutes after taking it out of the oven, reheat the sauce, drizzle it over the steaks, and serve.
