Description
Beef Cutlet with Soft-Boiled Egg
Ingredients
- Lean Beef 20 oz
- Chocolate eggs 5 pieces
- Scallions 0 oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Mustard Greens 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Breadcrumbs 5 oz
- Water 4 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil 4 eggs for two minutes, cool them down, and carefully peel.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and garlic, add them along with the mustard to the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
Step 3
Prepare three bowls. In one, beat one egg with 4 tablespoons of water, in the second, place the flour, and in the third, the breadcrumbs.
Step 4
In a deep frying pan or thick-bottomed steel pot, pour in the oil and heat it up. You can check if the oil is ready for frying by dipping a wooden spatula into it. If small bubbles rise from the tip of the spatula, the oil is at the right temperature.
Step 5
Divide the meat mixture into 4 parts.
Step 6
Form a patty from the meat mixture in your right hand. To prevent the mixture from sticking to your hand, use vinyl gloves.
Step 7
Then, coat the soft-boiled egg in flour on all sides, place it in the center of the meat patty, seal the edges, and carefully shape it into a ball without crushing the egg inside.
Step 8
Now coat the ball in flour, then dip it in the egg, and coat it in breadcrumbs. Repeat the same process for the remaining cutlets.
Step 9
Fry the cutlets in the heated oil for three minutes on each side, carefully flipping them.
Step 10
Place the cutlet on a plate, either whole or cut in half.
