Barley with Various Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Porcini Mushrooms 5 oz
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Shiitake Mushrooms 5 oz
- Carrots 3 pieces
- Barley Groats 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the porcini mushrooms in hot water.
Step 2
Add olive oil to a medium pot.
Step 3
Add shiitake mushrooms and carrots. Stir until the vegetables turn brown.
Step 4
Cook the barley separately, stirring frequently.
Step 5
Remove the porcini mushrooms from the water, chop them, and add to the barley. Add the bay leaf and soy sauce.
Step 6
Mix the barley with the chopped mushrooms.
