Ingredients
- Asturian Beans (White Beans) 20 oz
- Canned tomatoes 15 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Onion 1 head
- Vegetable Oil ½ cup
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the beans overnight. The next day, boil until cooked, drain the water, and set aside.
Step 2
While the beans are cooking, prepare the sauce. Mash the tomatoes in their own juice. Add the crushed garlic, the onion sliced into half rings, parsley, oil, salt, and pepper. Stir, place on the heat, and simmer for a bit.
Step 3
Place the cooked beans in a baking dish, pour the sauce over them, cover with a lid, and bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 355°F.
Step 4
When the beans are ready, remove from the oven, stir, and let sit for about 10-15 minutes.
