  • Beef tongue 0 lbs
  • Dry White Wine 0 fl oz
  • Tomatoes 2 pieces
  • Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard Greens 2 tablespoons
  • Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Melted Cheese 5 oz
  • Cauliflower 15 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the tongue, place it in a pot of water, bring to a boil, and after skimming off the foam, add salt.

Step 2

Cook for about 2-2.5 hours over low heat.

Step 3

Place the cooked tongue in cold water, remove the skin, and cut it into small cubes.

Step 4

Wash the vegetables, separate the cauliflower into florets, and dice the bell pepper.

Step 5

Peel the tomatoes, pass the pulp through a sieve, and mix with the wine, minced garlic, mustard, and mayonnaise.

Step 6

Grate the cheese.

Step 7

In a baking dish, layer the tongue, cauliflower, and bell pepper.

Step 8

Pour the tomato sauce over and sprinkle with cheese.

Step 9

Bake in a preheated oven for 20-30 minutes at 180°C.
