Baked Sturgeon
Ingredients
- Sour Cream 1 tablespoon
- Sturgeon 20 oz
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Season the prepared fish, cleaned of cartilage and bone scales, with salt and pepper, and place it in a frying pan.
Step 2
Spread sour cream on top, drizzle with oil, add 1/2 cup of water to the bottom of the pan, and place in the oven for 25–30 minutes, basting several times with the juices released during baking.
Step 3
When serving, cut the fish across into pieces, place on a warmed dish, and pour over the strained juices. Garnish the fish with sprigs of parsley.
Step 4
Serve with boiled potatoes with butter (or fried), as well as a green salad, vegetable salad, cucumbers, or lemon slices. May also be served with mayonnaise sauce with capers.
