
Baked Salmon with Young Potatoes

Description
This dish can be prepared step by step in reverse order: first bake the potatoes, then add the fish and cheese under foil. It's all very simple, quick, and right.
Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet 1 piece
- New Potatoes 10 oz
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
- Olive Oil 5 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the potatoes and cut them into quarters.
Step 3
Remove the bones from the fillet.
Step 4
If you don't have a baking dish, make one from foil that fits the size and place it on a baking sheet.
Step 5
Grease the baking dish with olive oil.
Step 6
Place the fish in the dish, season with salt and pepper on top.
Step 7
Also add the potatoes next to the fish and season with salt.
Step 8
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 355°F (until the fish is cooked).
Step 9
Once the fish is cooked, remove it and cover the potatoes with foil, leaving them in the oven until done.
Step 10
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Step 11
You can mix 50/50 coarse and fine.
Step 12
When the potatoes are done, sprinkle with cheese and leave in the oven for a little longer (a few minutes for the cheese to melt).
Step 13
Serve the finished dish in portions.
