Ingredients
- Potato 25 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Nigella Seeds 2 spoons
- Smoked haddock fillet 20 oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Dill 0 oz
- Cream 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Slice the potatoes into rounds and boil them in salted water until almost cooked. Drain and rinse under cold water.
Step 3
Grease a 20x30 cm baking dish with butter and arrange half of the potatoes in an even layer. Brush with more butter and sprinkle with half of the fennel. Season with salt and pepper, then place the fish on top.
Step 4
In a bowl, mix the wine, cream, and chopped dill, then pour it over the fish. Top with the remaining potatoes and brush with the remaining butter. Sprinkle with fennel, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Bake for 45-50 minutes until cooked through and golden brown on top.
