Description

Baked salmon with herb and capers relish

Ingredients

  • Steaks 4 pieces
  • Parsley 1 bunch
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Capers 1 tablespoon
  • Herbes de Provence to taste
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Quickly rinse the salmon steaks and pat them dry. Mix freshly ground black pepper and salt, and rub the mixture onto the steaks.

Step 2

Line a baking dish with parchment paper or foil, place the steaks in it, and bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes at 390°F. After removing the steaks, cover them with foil and let them rest for 10–12 minutes.

Step 3

Rinse the herbs and pat them dry, then chop finely.

Step 4

Thoroughly wash and dry the lemon, zest it using a fine grater, and squeeze out the juice.

Step 5

Rinse the capers in cold water and chop them.

Step 6

In a bowl, mix the relish ingredients. Don't pour all the lemon juice at once—taste and adjust the flavor of the sauce as needed.

Step 7

Serve the baked salmon steaks topped with the sauce.
