  • Lemon ½ piece
  • Mullet 5 lbs
  • Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F. Rub the inside cavity of the fish with salt. Make two cuts with a sharp knife — one on each side of the fish — and insert lemon wedges into them. Pour oil into a baking dish and place the fish in a single layer. Lightly season the fish with salt, drizzle with lemon juice, and place pieces of butter on top.

Step 2

Bake for 15 minutes until cooked through (the flesh should flake easily).
