  • Quail Egg 4 pieces
  • Saffron 1 teaspoon
  • Spanish onions 1 head
  • Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
  • Paprika 2 teaspoons
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a deep bowl, soak the prepared quail in saffron infusion. Chop the red onion coarsely and add it to the quail, squeezing the juice of 1 lemon into the mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon and paprika. Mix everything well by hand, rubbing the spice mixture into the quail. Season with pepper and let marinate.

Step 2

Then place in a heatproof dish and bake at 390°F until cooked through.
