Description

For this dish, it is best to use a small round pumpkin. If figs are not available, they can be omitted, as well as nuts, or walnuts can be replaced with your favorites. If you take small pumpkins, you will get individual servings, or one large pumpkin can be served for everyone. You should eat not only the filling but also the pumpkin itself, carefully scooping out the flesh with a spoon from inside along with the filling. This recipe does not use sugar, as the natural flavor of the ingredients is balanced and sufficient. If it is not sweet enough, feel free to add honey.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin 1 piece
  • Cottage cheese 10 oz
  • Apple 3 pieces
  • Walnuts 5 oz
  • Heavy cream 10 oz
  • Green Figs 6 pieces

Remove all the seeds from the pumpkin.

Step 13

When everything is ready (you can check readiness with a knife or stick by piercing the apples or the wall of the pumpkin; it should be soft), take it out of the oven and let it cool slightly.

Step 14 Image

Step 14

Chop the nuts finely, leaving a few whole for decoration.

Step 15 Image

Step 15

Drizzle the apples and figs with cream and sprinkle with nuts, decorating the lid of the pumpkin with large pieces.

Step 16

Serve whole at the table, or you can also serve it like ice cream or dessert, in portions. You can allow everyone to take the desired amount of filling, so a common spoon should be provided.
