Baked Potatoes with Garlic and Lemon
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 5 lbs
- Safflower Oil 5 tablespoons
- Garlic 10 cloves
- Citrus Zest Mix 2 pieces
- Paprika a pinch
- Chopped Sage Leaves 1 tablespoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Fat to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F. Peel the potatoes and cut them into equal pieces. Place them in a pot with cold water and bring to a boil. Add salt and cook for 6–8 minutes until they are soft on the outside. Drain, return to the pot, cover with a lid, and shake well.
Step 2
Pour the fat into a baking dish and heat in the oven for 5 minutes. Coat the potatoes in oil and place them in the dish. Bake for 30 minutes, then add the garlic, lemon zest, and paprika. Stir and return to the oven for another 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve, sprinkled with parsley or mint.
