  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • 10% cream 5 fl oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline. Rinse them several times under cold water to remove excess starch. Thoroughly dry them by laying them out in a single layer on a work surface.

Step 2

Grease a baking dish with butter. Layer the potatoes, sprinkle with garlic, season with salt and pepper, and top with pieces of butter. Repeat the layers until the dish is full, with the final layer being potatoes.

Step 3

Carefully pour in the cream and let it sit for 15 minutes. Cover with foil and place in a preheated oven at 320°F for about 1 hour. Remove the foil and lightly brown the top.
