Baked Pork Ribs with Honey

Ingredients

  • Pork Skewers 5 lbs
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Honey 2 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce 4 tablespoons
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Grated Ginger Root to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper a pinch

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the ribs well under water and cut them into serving pieces (3–4 ribs each).

Step 2

For the sauce, finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger. In a saucepan, combine the chopped onion, garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, and tomato paste.

Step 3

Bring the sauce to a boil and cook until the onion is soft. Blend the sauce using an immersion blender.

Step 4

Brush the ribs with the sauce using a culinary brush and let them marinate for 1–2 hours.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 320°F (320 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake the ribs for 1–1.5 hours, occasionally brushing them with the sauce. If the surface of the meat browns too much, you can cover it with foil.

Step 6

Reheat the remaining sauce, and you can strain it through a sieve. The pork ribs are ready.
