Main Dishes • French
Description
It can be served with green peas. Other sides are up to personal preference, as the dish is so delicious and hearty that you wouldn't want to spoil it with extra ingredients.
Ingredients
- Salt to taste
- Pork tenderloin 55 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Curry to taste
- Khmeli-suneli to taste
- Bay leaf 3 pieces
- Allspice berries 7 pieces
- Water 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly rub fresh pork loin on all sides with salt, ground black pepper, khmeli-suneli, and curry (the amount of spices can be adjusted to your taste, and you can also use other spices that you prefer). Let it sit for about five minutes.
Step 2
Place the marinated pork loin in a roasting bag (special plastic bags that can withstand temperatures up to 390°F are available in many supermarkets). Add a bay leaf and allspice.
Step 3
Pour in 100 ml of water and tie the ends of the bag securely. You can pierce the surface of the bag in two or three places to allow excess air to escape, or you can leave it sealed to preserve every bit of flavor.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 390°F. Place the pork loin on a baking tray and bake for fifty to fifty-five minutes. The smaller the piece, the less time it will need to cook; otherwise, the meat may become dry.
Step 5
Remove the cooked pork loin from the oven, let it cool slightly, slice it into pieces about 1-2 inches thick, and serve hot. The juices left at the bottom of the roasting bag can be used as a sauce.
