Baked Pike Fish Cakes
Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Dill 0 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix 1 teaspoon
- Carrot 5 oz
- White bread 5 oz
- Safflower Oil 1 teaspoon
- Pike 55 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the fish from scales and remove the insides.
Step 2
Remove the head of the fish and rinse well under running water.
Step 3
Separate the pike fillet from the central bone.
Step 4
Separate the second part of the pike fillet from the central bone.
Step 5
Remove the skin from the fish fillet.
Step 6
Check that there are no bones in the fillet.
Step 7
Peel the onion and carrot, rinse the dill under running water.
Step 8
Cut the onion and fillet into pieces to pass through a meat grinder.
Step 9
Pass the onion, fish fillet, and white bread through the meat grinder.
Step 10
Grate the carrot on a fine grater and chop the dill finely.
Step 11
Add the spices.
Step 12
Mix the minced meat well.
Step 13
With wet hands, shape the patties.
Step 14
Place the patties in a greased baking dish and bake covered at 355°F for about 40 minutes.
