Description

Recipe by John Smith, chef of popular American restaurants. Mezze, or appetizers typically served before the main courses, are the perfect dish for a celebration. Variety, shared portions that everyone can enjoy as they wish, and the convenience of being able to eat mezze on the go are why they should be on the table. In addition to the usual hummus, guacamole, and tzatziki, you can prepare pepper mezze with feta, for example, using John Smith's recipe.

Ingredients

  • Feta cheese 20 oz
  • Cream 22% 5 fl oz
  • Ramiro Pepper 5 oz
  • Olive Oil to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Grill the ramiro pepper or char it with a gas torch. Remove the skin and seeds. A small portion of the pepper will be needed for garnish.

Step 2

Place the feta cheese, peeled ramiro pepper, cream, and salt to taste in a mixing bowl. Whip until smooth.

Step 3

Transfer the whipped cheese to a bowl and garnish with finely chopped roasted piquillo peppers and olive oil.
