Description

Fish prepared this way retains its natural flavor and acquires the taste of the added vegetables. You can use any other vegetables to your liking instead of onion and carrot—such as celery, leeks, etc.

Ingredients

  • Blue Ling Fillet 20 oz
  • Turnips 2 pieces
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Step 2

Pour vegetable oil onto foil, place a piece of fish fillet (I used pangasius because it has a distinctive aroma), top the fish with diced carrots and onions, season with salt and pepper, and wrap tightly in foil.

Step 3

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Serve the fish (the vegetables will be simply boiled, so you can discard them).
