
Baked Fish in Foil

Description
You can use any large fish, such as mullet or trout, weighing up to a kilogram.
Ingredients
- Fish 1 piece
- Lemon 1 piece
- Fresh Mint 0 oz
- Cilantro 0 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Garlic 10 cloves
- Carrot 3 pieces
- Olive Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the fish, clean it, and remove the insides and membranes. Slice the onion thinly, grate the garlic, and dice the carrot. Separate the mint and cilantro into leaves.
Step 2
Line a baking dish with foil and brush it with olive oil. Place a third of the prepared ingredients on top. Lay the fish, seasoned with salt and pepper on both sides, on top of the ingredients.
Step 3
Place another third of the herbs and vegetables inside the cavity of the fish. Make three diagonal cuts on the fish and insert a slice of lemon into each cut. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with the remaining ingredients.
Step 4
Lift the foil from all sides and wrap the fish in it. Bake in the oven for forty minutes at 390°F.
