Baked Fish Fillet
Ingredients
- Blue Ling Fillet 4 pieces
- Chopped Green Onions to taste
- Sliced Processed Cheese 5 oz
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp 5 oz
- Puff Pastry 4 pieces
- Safflower Oil 2 teaspoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the electric oven to 220°C / gas oven to 200°C. Place the fish on parchment paper and season well.
Step 2
Mix the dill and processed cheese in a bowl. Add the shrimp. Gently stir to avoid breaking the shrimp. Season with black pepper and spread this mixture over the fish.
Step 3
Brush the sheets of puff pastry with oil and cut into thick strips. Crumble the pastry slightly and sprinkle it over the fish. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the fish is cooked. The pastry should be golden.
Step 4
If you used raw shrimp, make sure they are cooked through. Serve with green beans or salad and your favorite type of potatoes.
