Baked dumplings
Ingredients
- Dough for dumplings 20 oz
- Sour Cream 5 teaspoons
- Onion 1 head
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Bay leaf 5 pieces
- Butter 2 spoons
- Dill 1 bunch
- Spices to taste
- Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into thin half-rings and sauté in butter over low heat for 10–15 minutes.
Step 2
Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, and spices together. Add the onion.
Step 3
Finely chop the dill, add it to the mixture, and stir. If the mixture is too thick, add some water.
Step 4
Place a few bay leaves at the bottom of the skillet. Then, arrange the dumplings in a single layer and pour the mixture over them, making sure all the dumplings are covered, and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200–430°F for 25–30 minutes.
