Baked Chicken with Orange Marmalade and Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 30 oz
- Chicken Drumstick 8 pieces
- Oranges 2 pieces
- Orange zest 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Cinnamon 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take the oranges. Squeeze the juice from one orange and grate its zest. Cut the second orange into quarters.
Step 2
Season the chicken, place it in a low pot, and brown it on all sides until golden.
Step 3
Peel the potatoes, slice them as desired, and add them to the chicken.
Step 4
Remove the pot from the heat.
Step 5
Mix the orange zest and juice, marmalade, and garlic; season to taste.
Step 6
Pour this mixture over the chicken and potatoes, add 200 ml of water and the cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Step 7
Add the orange pieces 5 minutes before it's done and add a little more water if necessary.
Step 8
Remove the cinnamon stick and sprinkle with parsley for garnish.
