Baked Chicken Thighs with Cabbage in the Oven
Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs 20 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Carrot 5 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- White Cabbage 15 oz
- Parsley to taste
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Chicken Seasoning 2 teaspoons
- Ketchup 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the chicken thoroughly under running water and separate it from the bone.
Step 3
Cut the thigh into two parts.
Step 4
Place the meat in a container, season with salt to taste, and add 2 teaspoons of chicken seasoning.
Step 5
Slice the cabbage into strips and place it in the container where the dish will be baked.
Step 6
Peel the carrot, wash it well under running water, slice it into strips, and add it to the container with the cabbage.
Step 7
Remove the seeds and stem from the red bell pepper, slice it into strips or cubes, and add it to the container with the cabbage and carrot.
Step 8
Peel the onion, wash it well under running water, slice it into strips or cubes, and add it to the container with the vegetables.
Step 9
Add 2 tablespoons of ketchup to the vegetable mixture.
Step 10
Peel the garlic, wash it well under running water, slice it into strips or crush it, and add it to the prepared vegetables.
Step 11
Pour 50 ml of vegetable oil into the container. Gently mix all the chopped ingredients, season with salt to taste, and add 2 bay leaves.

Place the prepared chicken thighs on top of the vegetable mixture. Cover with a lid and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for about 40 minutes.

Serve the finished dish hot or warm. Optionally, garnish with parsley when serving.
