Baked Chicken Thighs in Kefir Sauce with Carrots
Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs 6 pieces
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Kefir 10 fl oz
- Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Turnips 4 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the dill and garlic into the kefir, add the mustard and mix.
Step 2
Rub the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Pour the kefir-mustard sauce over them and let marinate for about 30 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, slice the carrots into rounds and the pepper into rings or half-rings.
Step 4
Place the marinated chicken thighs and prepared vegetables in a baking dish, pour over the marinade sauce, cover with a lid, and bake in a preheated oven at 180–390°F for 60 minutes. Ten minutes before it's done, remove the lid and brown the thighs.
